Is loneliness a choice???

I don't know if it's a choice

I just know how it feels

It's a lovely house and the walls are green
in the room where I spend my day.

From my window 

I see the birds playing
and hear their distant song, but
I can't feel the breeze or the sun.

It's a lovely house 

but the door is locked again,
 and I can't figure out how to open it
and that frightens me.
When I find someone to take me outside
I'm in awe of the beauty,
 the warmth.
The breeze, the trees, the moon..
all make me smile.


It's a beautiful house
but I live in one room and visit the rest
as required.
